During what has become known as the 'Frontier Wars', Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nations and tribes fought to defend themselves and their country, with many violently murdered in the clashes with white settlers.
Indigenous artifacts found at Griffith Hospital site handed back

Wiradjuri Elder James Williams said the hospital site was once a place where Aboriginal families gathered to meet, trade and settle disputes ahead of going to ceremonies on nearby Scenic Hill.
