Karyn Moyle is at the forefront of a grassroots healing movement in the Northern Territory, bringing together culture, spirituality, truth-telling, and community to support those impacted by trauma.
As the founder of Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation and Perfectly Imperfect Consulting, Karyn delivers culturally grounded programs across remote Aboriginal communities. Her work focuses on suicide prevention, grief and loss, mental health, and healing from intergenerational trauma.
She is also the co-founder of Aunties Place, a culturally safe and non-clinical community hub in Palmerston, and co-host of the Unbreakable Voices: Rise podcast. The podcast provides a powerful platform for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, as well as individuals impacted by suicide and systemic racism, to share their stories and call for change.
Rooted in lived experience, faith, storytelling, and art, Karyn’s work walks alongside communities with compassion and strength, offering pathways to healing and hope.
Despite a decade of the Australian Mental Health Prize, no recipient has ever come from the Northern Territory. It’s time to change that.
